ROB and DIANE have a mission: "To introduce the 'Happy Dance' to as many people as possible. We want everyone to learn how much fun this is...it's hard not to be happy when you're swingin'!"

From their home base in San Francisco, where they run weekly classes and dances, they travel the globe sharing their expertise in and love of swing - Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag, Charleston...you name it, they do it!

Regular teachers at swing camps the world over, including the swing Mecca of Herrang, Rob and Diane have earned a reputation for their clear, insightful tuition, as well as their warm natures and fun on the dance floor. Just look for the biggest smiles and that will be them!

Rob, originally from Holland, was also one of the "original" Lindy Hoppers of the dance's renaissance, and has been teaching and performing for 13 years. A former US National Champion, he was inducted into the "California Swing Dance Hall of Fame" in 1993, and nominated for the prestigious "Feather Award" in 1995 and 1996.

Diane is an athlete and dancer who quickly grabbed attention in her early swing years. Known for her style, grace, and charm, she is regarded throughout the global swing community as one of the most talented swing dancers on the floor. Having toured and performed with the world-renowned troupe "The Rhythm Hot Shots", she knows how to dazzle with dance.
