Hi Movers and Shakers
Just a quick reminder that the Pearly Shells Swing Orchestra is back at Ormond Hall this sunday 9th with special guest , the wonderful Emma Franz to help us rock de joint.
Thanks to everyone who came down last month and made a big night of it, we now have a regular monthly haunt till the end of the year and hopefully into the next.
The folks at Ormond Hall have taken note that they didn't have the menu quite right last time, (thanks for some of the regulars for pointing out that some of the meals and prices were not what we were used to at the Danish) and will have a new menu and wine list starting this sunday.
Band plays 7pm till 10 and entry is $10
Ormond Hall is in Moubray St, (extension of Greville st) just near st kilda rd and next door to the Belgin beer cafe.

Melbourne Swing Patrol's "Meet the Scene" Ball
The "Meet the Scene" Ball
When: Saturday 15th May, 2010
Where: Malvern Town Hall, on the corner of Glenferrie Rd and High in Malvern.
Time: Doors open at 8.00pm
Live Music: Margot Leighton & the Swing-Stirs
Snacks and Drinks: Liquid Infusion will be in attendance, so it’s strictly NO BYO.
Cost: $22 in advance, or $25 at the door
After Party: 12:30am onwards at Forever Dance, upstairs at 432 Church St in Richmond
This much loved Ball, also affectionately known as the “Beginner Ball”, is the first big Swing Patrol event of the year where all venues come together to MEET THE SCENE! Especially for all the new and wonderful dancers who have only just started swing dancing this year….This night is all about you!
