I stick my nose in every other day, but I think most kids are using faceplant these days. One thing that I have thought about is that I'd like to start up a monthly podcast about the Australian Lindy Scene - something to talk to the peeps in Sydney about when I get home.

Oh my I can't believe I'm still registered for this. Its probably been at least 5 years since I've checked this discussion board. It would be handy to keep the Melbourne gig section updated as I'm sure facebook groups may miss out on a lot of small gigs.
I'm currently looking for a weekend swing event in July for my boyfriend's birthday. Anyone heard of anything? All I've got so far is Bennetts Lane (Not danceable), Dizzy's Jazz Club (Never heard of the performers) and B# Big Band at the Copa Cobana. Am I missing anything?

I've been a bit loyal to SwingTalk, as at least it's one place to find & post the events and big whatsonerry.
But I also double post the stuff to Faceplant's Groups (a pretty useless set-up, as it does not update to group members own FB page).
